Affiliate Rules

Program Overview

• Commission Rate. Our standard commission rate is 10%. We may increase or decrease your commission rate on a case-by-case basis based on performance, referral volume, traffic quality, risk signals, or other factors.
• Recurring Commission. Commission is recurring, which means you may earn commission on ongoing payments from referred customers as long as the referral remains active and you remain in good standing.
• No Commission on Credit Purchases. We do not pay commission on purchases made using store credit or account credit.
• Qualifying Purchases. You earn commission only on paid invoices/services that are successfully processed and are not later reversed or refunded.
• Minimum Payout. Our minimum payout request is $30.
• Payout Timing. Earnings appear in your affiliate account automatically. You can request a payout only after you meet the minimum payout amount.

Payout Methods, Fees, and Withdrawal Requests

Payout Methods. You can request payouts via:

• Store credit
• PayPal
• ACH

• Fees. PayPal and ACH payouts may include processing fees (including transaction fees and/or ACH fees). Where applicable, we deduct these fees from the payout amount.
• Withdrawal Frequency. We do not set a strict limit on payout requests, but we expect reasonable behavior. If you submit excessive or abusive withdrawal requests, we may restrict withdrawals or place your account under review.
• Processing. Payout timelines are measured from when you submit a payout request. We may delay processing for verification, fraud review, chargeback risk, compliance checks, or payment processor constraints.
• Tax Forms. At certain payout volumes or thresholds, we may require tax documentation (such as W-9/W-8 or equivalent). If the required documents are not provided, we may delay or prevent payouts.

Refunds, Chargebacks, and Commission Reversals

• Refund Reversals. If a referred order is refunded, we reverse the related commission.
• Non-Refundable Services. Some services are non-refundable (including domains, dedicated servers, and colocation). If a transaction is non-refundable, the commission is generally not affected by a refund, as no refund will be issued.
• Crypto Refunds. If we approve a refund for a cryptocurrency payment, we may issue it only as store credit. Commission treatment follows the underlying refund outcome.

Required Disclosure and Transparency

Whenever you promote Sparked Host using a referral link, you must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship.

• Disclosure Must Be Clear and Nearby. Your disclosure must be easy to notice and placed near the referral link or in the same content where the referral link appears.
• Recommended Disclosure. Example language: “This is an affiliate link. I may earn a commission if you purchase through this link.”
• Platform Rules. You are responsible for complying with all applicable platform rules and advertising/endorsement requirements wherever you post content.

Allowed Promotion Methods

We expect you to promote Sparked Host using accurate, honest messaging and relevant content. Allowed promotion methods include:

• Tutorials, walkthroughs, and guides (for example: "How to set up a Minecraft server")
• Reviews, feature breakdowns, and comparisons that are truthful and not deceptive
• Posting your referral link on your own website, blog, social media, YouTube/TikTok descriptions, streaming pages, and newsletters
• Sharing your referral link in relevant third-party communities where promotion is permitted and done with context (not spam)

Prohibited Promotion Methods

The following actions are prohibited and may result in commission reversal, payout withholding, suspension, or termination.

Self-Referrals, Fake Accounts, and Related-Party Purchases

You may not earn commission on purchases driven by abuse or artificial activity.

• No Self-Referrals. You may not use your own referral link to purchase services for yourself.
• No Friend/Related-Party Abuse. You may not generate commission through friends, employees, contractors, household members, or controlled accounts when the purpose is to manufacture commission.
• No Fake Accounts. You may not create fake accounts, stage purchases, or manipulate conversions.
• Enforcement. If we detect this behavior, we may reverse commissions tied to it and may suspend or terminate your affiliate access.

Branding and Representation

• Brand Guidelines Required. If you use our branding, you must follow our Branding Guidelines published on our site.
• Approved Assets Only. Use only the brand assets we provide through the Branding Guidelines page or that we explicitly approve.
• No Impersonation. You may not represent yourself as Sparked Host staff, official support, or an authorized representative.
• No Domains or Handles. You may not register or use domains or social handles that include “Sparked Host” (or confusingly similar variations).

Enforcement, Reviews, and Account Actions

We may take action to protect customers and the program, including on a case-by-case basis.

• Commission Reversals. We may reverse commissions tied to refunds, abuse, fraud, policy violations, or invalid purchases.
• Payout Withholding. We may temporarily withhold payouts during verification, investigation, or fraud review.
• Warnings and Escalation. We may issue warnings, suspend accounts, or terminate affiliation status.
• Scope of Action. We generally target enforcement at commissions tied to the violation. Repeated or severe abuse may result in restrictions, suspension, or permanent removal from the program.

Updates and Case-by-Case Decisions

• We may update these rules at any time.
• We may change commission rates, eligibility, payout requirements, and restrictions on a case-by-case basis.
• By participating in our affiliate program, you will be subject to any updated rules.
